    Thumbs up

Sweet as hell! Now just waiting for the time to trace down which wire to posi-tap into... was thinking about high/low beam simultaneous, but the more I think about it, the more I've decided just to tap into the low beam only.

Nice lights. I tried ordering when you had your recent sale but these would never come up for me.

Low beam is the yellow wire in the headlight bucket? Or is there a better place to tap in? (later) Looks like just behind the headlight bucket is a good spot, assuming I orient the wire taps vertically. Looks as though I should be able to drop both wires into the end of each tap, one for hot, one for ground.

I think I'd come off the battery with a relay ... or off the Ignition switch with a relay ... just my $0.02

Tapped in just behind the headlight shell as I mentioned earlier; these things ROCK. Have had no problems with them whatsoever, and they *really* light up the world, important when you live out in the boonies and need to watch for critters.

I've also noticed that, since I have mine mounted low on the engine guard, the triangle formed by the headlight, the running lights, and these bad boys seems to grab the cagers' attention. Noticed a definite increase in people in front of me getting out of the left lane when I approach. Not screaming up behind them, maybe 2-3mph faster... before, I'd wait a while and they'd move over, now they tend to move over before I get to them.

Thanks to DK for a superior product, and for including enough mounting brackets to make almost any angle/mounting position possible!

Very cool! Thank you for the great review.

I have experienced the same thing myself.

I also noticed Scott (he has them on his TG) when he was riding behind me, much better with them on.

Just noticed it's been almost a year since I started running these. For those of you thinking about them, go ahead and get them! I've had zero problems with these little gems since I mounted them. No burnouts, no wiring issues, no heat issues, no fading, and no shifting/drooping as far as the mounting brackets go. They look just as good as the day I installed them and are every bit as bright. And for once, no wiring issues at all, the connection is as firm and strong as the day I hooked 'em up. Great product!

Could you post a picture of the lights on your Freewheeler?

    Thanks,

No problem. Note that this placement is just how I set it up to give me a nice low, wide spread of light since I live out in the country. I ride into work at 5 in the morning or before, and need to watch for rabbits and the like bouncing out of brush along the side of the road. There are enough brackets included with the lights that you could mount them in lots of different locations depending on your particular requirements.
