I've had a few aftermarket windshields and found the F4 +4 worked the best for my wife and I. Less wind buffeting and wind noise in our headsets.

I'm looking to buy a new windshield for my 03 GW Trike and was wondering what would be my best pick. I looked at Long Ride Shields & Arizona Windshield. I drove a trike with a higher windshield and liked that the wind wasn't to strong for both driver & passenger but Long Ride says with it's design it will do the same as a taller windshield??

I have the Long Ride windshield on my trike and like it. Can't beat it for the price.

After using X-Tall Tulsa clear w/v on my wings, I decided to try the F4+4 clear w/v. WOW, what a great windshield.
Give that one a try.
BTW, they stand behind theirs as I did get a scratch in mine and they replaced it at no charge.
Kudos for the F4 ,only I installed the plus 2 on my 1500 & was very satisfied (also have the adjustable air vent in it)
Many folks love tall windshields. Personally, I like to look over the top of the shield for a clear view of the road ahead. Another "shorty" to at least take a look at is the "Windbender" from Fire Creek accessories. (HERE) If you look closely at my "sig pic", you can see a tall one (unknown brand) on Barbara's '87 and the Windbender on my '95.
Be sure to look down the left side of their web page for video's, demos, etc. Best wishes with whatever you choose...

F4 Custom is the only way to go, IMHO. A Tulsa will hit you on the head oftentimes when you get on and off the bike. Plus, with the F4 you get a scratch resistant shield that can't be beat. I've had mine on for couple of years and not one scratch on it. You will especially like it if you like to look through the shield and not over it. They are pricey, but worth it.
The F4 is a great wind screen but you might also take a look at the Optic Armor line. I have Optic Armor on both my trike and the bike and really like them.
I have the F4+4 wo/v and love it. I've been using it for 5 yrs, mostly 2-up.
