Seating Issue

I have been trying to find a Stallion Dealer near Albuquerque to test drive a 2010. My biggest question is this, can a man who is 6'6" fit in the front seat without his knees hitting the steering wheel? This one of the biggest concerns for me before I spend the money on a Stallion. So everyone, will I fit?<br />

I am not 6'6" and I don't ride a Stallion, but I do want to welcome you to the forum, Pooh. I know the pedals and the seat position are both easily adjustable for tall or short people, but how tall? I don't know. Someone on here will, though.

BigDog redid his seat to allow more room by removing the back rest and making the seat flat. There are some photos somewhere, maybe in his garage site you could look at. Not sure how tall he is. Nana can find them, she can find anything in the web site !!!!<br />

I am 6'3", my wife owns the stallion, but when she lets me have the keys, i pull out the backrest, then I take my Air rider pad off my wing, put it on the stallion seat and it allows me to sit further back on top of the raised portion of the seat. I toss in a sleeping bag for a back rest, without the sleeping bag my back hurts after riding, i guess I am used to leaning back on my wing back rest<img src="images/smilies/grin.gif" border="0" alt="" title="big grin" class="inlineimg" />.<br />

If it were my full time ride, I would go with a mod like Big Dog, my wife is 5' 6" so it fits her great.<br />

At 6'6" I am thinking you will not like the fit, but any Bike/Trike at your height is going to need some adjusting.

i think you can mod the seat to make it fit you. i do not think 2 up riding would be possible though. Stallions a great ride and welcome aboard.

I finally figured out that the seat is not adjustable, if you need to "adjust" the seat you do it by the foot pedals "if" you have that option.<br />

One question on the seat, is the new seat a lot more comfortable than the original that came out with the first year or two run of Stallions? I have see a picture of it being worked on (the original) and it did appear to be no more than a seat pan with a very little bit of foam covering it. I am hoping that is one area that I will not have to deal with if/when I get mine.<br />

Adjustable pedals are an option. However, I do not know if this would be what you need.

I understand the newer seats have about 1" more foam than the old ones. I am still waiting for Corbin to come out with their Stallion seat. They had a seat pan, and once they do one, they will be able to sell them for a good price.

I've called and have spoken with Corbin and they said to bring my seat to then in Calif and they would build me a seat. They also said at that time they were NOT going to build a seat for the stallion !!! Also left my stallion with Ultimate seats for a few days and they also said NO. Right now the best bet is to find a local shop to have a more dense foam installed. Going to a vendor at a bike event like I did (stupid) cost me $425.

I've had my seat redone twice at local shops, one in Maryland, and mot recently here in Florida. Neither one was overly expensive, and they listen and will make any needed mods after you've gone on a long ride. I always try to support the local tradesman, when ever possible.

A Airhawk, is a cushion that u fill with air to sit on... it goes on ur trike seat and u can adjust the air to where it suits u the best...
