I don't know how Honda headsets are, but Harley headsets leave a LOT to be desired. Get the Elite headsets from J & M. Well worth the extra money!

J& M are good and I have 2 sets, that came with my wing. I also have 2 sets of Ed sets, and I personally like them better because I wear a 1/2 helmet. The Ed sets allow you to up plug the headphones, and I run all my sound, MP3, & CB through the speakers. I also have a set of IMC's that hook up to the family radios and they work well also. With the Ed sets if I need to run the Cb into my ear I use a normal set of ear plugs but only use my left ear. OR at least that's the plan, if I needed it. I mounted the mike on Velcro to my Helmet, so when I am riding and do not need the CB, I can take it off and store it.
Whatever you buy look for something modular, that you can replace broken components. Also buy from one of the companies that will be around.

J&M headsets will work fine in Shoei helmets if you use thinner speakers:

J&M was the supplier of headsets to Honda. Don't know if that's changed yet or not w/the end of the Wing assembled in the USA.
Here's a link to someone that can answer any question you might have on Honda Audio/CB/CD systems and headsets, including what to do to get rid of the constant intercom noise since the mics are live all the time:

WingStuff is having a great sale on J & M's HS8154B headsets, listing their VIP price of $57.74. They work on both the full and open face helmets and only use 1 SINGLE CORD!!!! We've been using our on our 06 Goldwing trike for weeks and LOVE THEM. The audio is great in both the radio and intercom. Can't tell you anything about the CB as we haven't hooked that up yet. Some of the reviews claim that the audio is not quite as good with the CB, but for us that in not an issue at all.
