    Default Wide Glide

    I have a 1975 Kawasaki neck and front end. I want to change to a wide glide with a 21" wheel. Anyone done this before? Does anyone make a wide glide for the metric neck using 41mm tubes?

    There must be loads, Harley forks are metric. Think i had 41 or 42 on my FXR.
    I got some wide glide trees from Big Bear but they are in Germany, If you in the US you have a lot of choices.

    Hmm, seems like there was a thread that had a link to a bearing site that would convert many different front ends to many different necks. Can't seem to find it now.

    I remember a member wanting to put a Harley front end on a Kawi if I remember correctly.

    Pretty sure the site had that configuration.

    I'll keep seeking that thread though.

    I thought that list was over on chopper underground.
    I may have referenced or linked someone to it before.
    But i can not seem to find it either.

    Default Wide Glide

    I believe that Allballz Racing's fork conversion chart is what you may be looking for:

    I believe that they are mainly (exclusively) metric / metric.

    Harley has historically used "Harley Only" bearing sizes in their builds. Can't speak for more modern years (last 20 years or so). What I've seen done in the past is to remove the steering neck from the Harley Wide Glide lower tree and replace it with a new steering neck with the metric spec'd dimensions.
