Welcome to the world of personalizing your ride
Man, on my last bike (new Kawi about 28 years ago) I spent a total of about 10 bucks for a pair of pegs to hang on the engine guards that came with it. These days, there seems to be no limit as to what you can spend on goodies. Chrome that used to cost 25 bucks is over 300 now. I'm just getting started, and I put on a horn, bought a charger, compressor, waterproof mount for my GPS, chrome cigarette lighter, a mustang seat, special tool for getting to the carb AF adjustment, and cruise peg mounts (which don't even come with pegs!!)
Aye Caramba!
