Tri Glide Passenger Arm Rest

Has anyone on here installed the Harley Passenger Arm rest on a tri glide and if so do you have pictures of what they look like after installed and what kind of job was it to do.

Don't know anything about the HD Passenger Arm rests, but I installed the Kuryakn passenger arm rests and the installation was basically, remove the Tour Pack and they install directly under the Tour Pack mounting. Fairly easy installation. They come with longer bolts needed as well. Initially the wife liked them but lately she had me remove them and they are on the shelf in the garage. She said she had more arm movement w/o them. She is not a large frame lady either, about 125 lbs. soak and wet!!!

I have them on our 2015 and my BSR (back seat rider) thanks me for them every time we ride. She likes the small storage compartments in each arm rest and likes having someplace to rest her arms. She also like the ability to swing them out or her way to get on and off the machine.

Just put them on mine last week. Remove the seat and tour pack, tape the template to the top of the body, drill 8 holes and then the fun starts! But only if you are doing it by yourself. You will have to remove the wheel on the side you are working on to reach up and hold the bracket plate under the body while screwing the bolts up into the block that holds the arm rests. Other than that, it is easy. It helps if you have someone to hold the block on top, for me I barely could reach both top and bottom at the same time but I managed!!!! OBTW, while I had the Tour Pack off, I drilled new holes in it so I could move it back 1.5" for more comfort for the wife(and for my back rest to fit while both of us were riding!!!!)

Do the arms swing or are they fixed? If they do swing do they lock in place when your rider sits down?

yes they swing .. out and also swing back --- out of the way if not in use

and they also swing all the way in to the front of the passenger back rest almost touching each other

no they do not "lock" in place .. but they do not flop around either -- well engineered and pricey

but "we are not here for a long time .. we are here for a good time" .. screw the costs

my co pilot is happy and comfortable
