CSC Kruze exhaust details

Well Ladies and Gent's,
If all goes as planned next week I'll no longer be a 7 month owner of a Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager CSC trike owner. Wife and I drove a new Spyder for a day and that sold us. Quiet, great wind management, fast, semi auto trans, safety features. Its as good if not better than the goldwing in almost all areas in my opinion and the Kawasaki is not even on the honorable mention list. Again my opinion only. I played around with the Kawi's exhaust baffles a lot again and the noise level is still just crazy for the both of us. All changing the baffles does is change the pitch/tone and changes which gear its the loudest at cruise and accelerating as well as some performance. If I got that fixed, then there's the driver passenger heat issues, then the vibration, wind management issues. Cut my losses. I needed a big jar of vaseline to make the switch but I learned a lesson or 2 from my purchase mistake...never ever buy a bike without you or the wife riding it for more than a 15 min bike test ride. After 10 years of riding a Goldwing trike I don't know why I thought I'd like to go back to a V twin. My bad! So I had to buck up, open my wallet and move on. Good Luck everyone with your units and safe riding.

634, that's sweet and sour news. I'm sorry to see you go but absolutely ecstatic that you found a way to stay in the wind and be happy with your ride.

Happy trails.

thats funny cause we are going to a can am dealer
this afternoon. might as well try everything. b etween
our 5 year old bike and the tryke kit will have over 25thou in it. might be a nice used se or rt out there. what are
you getting and from where ? keep us posted and with pics.

IRV, Mad City Powersports, Madison WI. about 7 miles from my house. New carryover 2015 RTS. I'll post a pic when I get it. Could have saved a little money elsewhere but a lot more miles to the dealer so I just took a little jar of vaseline with me when I signed the paperwork. Plus out of 9 other places only 2 would even take the trike on trade so good luck with yours. I took it in the shorts as far as time and cost of owning this Voyager but it is what it is. After all the hassles and time spent selling my Goldwing outright even though I mad more I didnt want the hassle. Besides fishing season is starting and so is riding time! I'll still be checking in to see whats up and if csc ever gets a new muffler system. Safe riding!

we rode an rt limited in loves park . found a leftover15 in red in
elmhurst il. see if they can get it. only thing i dont like is the
brake pedal. got a friend who can machine anything. rides
like a dream. wife likes the seat too. thinking about the s
but those black wheels are the hangup.

IRV, Elmhurst is where my other place was.....hope they still have the red one for you. They told me it was flagged for someone else and i'd have to settle for a black one. Yah at first the brake pedal felt a little funky but if I don't get the feel of it I'll just make an extension. Test rode another one today for Demo days at Enflehart for shits and giggles and wife still loves it:pepper::clapping:I wanted the black wheels , no chrome polishing for me anymore if i can help it.

red one was on ebay. loves park can get a 16. would
take an rts in red. you can get the other wheels through can am. id be open to a 15 . much rather save money. be the last machine i own be 68 in june.
what color are you getting and did they have other leftovers?

talked to will at csc monday. he says they are working on a
quieter muffler. 1 company fell through but talking to another. i asked how the wing crowd feels about the noise.
he has had complaints and thats why the muffler
development. probly nothing till late summer, early fall.
their new suspension option should be out soon also.
soft ride or sport.

CSC was at Thunder Beach Rally last week. I talked to the rep about the new muffler. He knew about the effort to make a quieter pipe available but has not heard it and couldn't provide anything further.

He will be on the road working the various rallies until fall so if you see him at a rally he may not have any answers regarding the muffler.

Kinda like trading in the car cause the ash tray was full .
Just kiddin- Enjoy the new ride.- As we say- Didn't happen unless we have pix!

retirement present for wife. the black wheels need an upgrade.

Congrats Irv! Enjoy your new ride! I have an uncle that was a diehard Harley rider who bought one due to a back knee and he and my aunt love it.

You need to post some more pics in the Can-Am Spyder thread. ThumbUp
