All the carriers I've seen are for small dogs.91 lbs is alot of dog. Then ad the weight of the carrier better b a pretty substantial setup. Now if u meant 19 lbs I think there's a place called buggy.com sells a replacement tour pak lid.
Sometime in the past, whilst rummaging around on the world wide web, I stumbled across an article, post, or page that had pictures of a home made dog carrier that was mounted in place of the trunk on a motorcycle. At the time, I just thought it was pretty cool and didn't have forsight enough to bookmark it. I have a 91 pound hound I'd like to take riding sometimes and don't want him sucking up all my exhaust fumes from a trailer (which I don't have nor can afford.) Anyone other than me see that site and can remember it? Thanks for any help.

Jeb, 91 lbs that's not a dog it is a horse ( just ride him and save gas )
Goggles and a bungy cord (or appropriate strap) and just have the horse, I mean dog, on passenger seat. Then tell people your girlfriend needs a shave and bikini wax REALLY BAD!
I knew I could depend on this forum for the info I was seeking. Thank all who replied for your thoughtfulness. Much appreciated.

Lots of dog carriers on Amazon, the kind that mounts on a motorcycle, but they are small. Not sure where you would find one for a 91lb dog unless it was the Bushtec Tow-Tow trailer made for dogs.

The only way I've seen a BIG dog hauled around was with a sidecar. YouTube has several homemade ones you might watch. They seem to all be small dog but I didn't watch but one.
The only reason some people are still alive is it's illegal to shoot them.

I found a site that has what I would like but they need the bike for measurements. I was thinking more along the lines of DIY.

Now thats pretty cool. What do they want to build one? Looks like it wouldn't be that bad of a DIY project.

I used to have a Doberman (90#), he would ride on the b$tch seat and put his paws on my shoulders ... he was a strange dog, used to sit on the bike and growl at people that got too close to it when I used to bar hop ... this was my 65 sporty chopper ... and I was a lot younger and stupider ... man ... that's saying a lot.
Now to give you a real suggestion ... you could remove your tour pak, top case, whatever it's called on your bike. Then mount one of those "crates". You'd probably have to block the holes in the side facing front, or provide the pooch with some doggles. Dogs eyes can really dry out "in the wind". This might not be an attractive option, but the pooch would be "safe", at least as safe as you, and you could remove the crate and put the "trunk" back on.
Train your pet to ride in the seat like fuzzyWuzHe said and you won't need a carrier.
