A few years ago, I was walking downtown Grand Rapids, waiting at the cross walk, when I looked down there was a lion standing next to me. The circus was in town and a trainer was walking one of the lions.
Glad it didn't have the same attitude as the one in Palm Beach Zoo that killed the keeper

When i had a pair of Newfie's i would walk them off leash in the woods in town, And on a few occasion's i would get a call from the Police asking if i was out with them that day.
The reason was that they were getting Bear sighting's called in...
I guess they did look like Bear's What with the Female at 165, And the Male at 206..
