Car tires and rims on a trike

I know this seems like a simple question but, can you use regular car tires and rims on the rear of a trike as long as the size and bolt pattern is correct. Thanks in advance for the help.

Short answer; yes.
However there are some issues that need to be addressed such as tire width to fender clearance, and rim offset to hub/caliper clearance, etc.
Once all clearance issues are in spec, you are good to go...

Last week I replaced both rear tires with Cooper Trendsetter SE Tires (205/70R/14) from my local Tire Central & Service. This is a quiet-running tire with excellent traction.
