Has anyone mounted a Reckless Faring on a Free Wheeler ?
They make one specifically for a Free Wheeler and it can be purchased
with fixed or adjustable wind defectors.

I would love to hear from you if anyone has one.
I have to do something to help with the updraft.

Thanks.

Another option is JEScustoms.com. He makes a fork mounted lower that is FW specific that eliminates buffeting and updrafts. They work great as many people here can tell you.

I have the JES fork mounted lowers and as Psychogramps says they work great. Much cheaper than a fairing too.

To do it right you will need both Reckless faring and the JES mounted lowers. Without the lowers the wind just comes up
under the faring really hard. I have both and love them.
I tried the JES by themselves (with windshield) and they just
didn't work. With both, wind is hardly noticeable.

Same here on the JES

The JES is a must. I may try a fairing also later on. I live in Alaska and want to make it as rain and cold friendly as possible.

I have a Reckless Fairing wit the Sony CD and 2 5.5 inch Speakers. I love it as Ive never used my windshield. It was a very tight fit which I guess is good as it will probably have more flex with use. Is there anything specific you would like to know that I didn't mention?

How much was your setup?
