What Do You Use For Music

When my conversion is completed (another month) I will be looking to find a music solution. I do not have a faring, just a windshield. Has anyone heard of or used sharkmotorcycleaudio.com? They seem to have some bluetooth speaker systems at a very good price. Does anyone use their smartphone and just handlebar mounted speakers with good results?

On the Goldwing, we had the built-in intercom that also connects with the radio and, if optioned, a CD player. On the Harley or Bonneville, I had an Mp3 player and in-ear speaker phones. Now we have Sena 20S Bluetooth intercoms that have FM radio and connect with the phone or other Bluetooth device. I can listen to streaming radio on the phone if there is 4gLTE connection and I have data to use, or I have a memory card in the phone with 5200 songs on it.
BTW - the best sound was the in-ear phones. They were a bit of both ear buds and ear plugs. The Sena gives the option to use the canal phones, but the speakers are pretty good, so I use those. The worst sound is speakers on the fairing or handlebars. A lot more clarity of sound gets lost to road and wind noise over speakers in your helmet.

I Have an I-pod Velcro to the Faring of my Tri-Glide and plug in to the Auxiliary plug on the radio, And run a power wire from the cigarette lighter plug in the faring to the I-pod... Never had the radio on, And almost never use the CD..

Just plug the XM into the loading dock, on the bike, house, garage or car.

I've been using my phone as an XM receiver using an app for that. Works most of the time but it's finicky about reception sometimes. Just goes away never to return sometimes. So I switch over to a memory stick. I do like the sound of the engine though. So no loss when the music skips out.

I use a Shark Audio 250w stereo for tunes on the trike. Very audible at 70. Can use stick, SD card, IPod/MP3 player in the aux port or bluetooth from phone, etc. Been using it about a year and am happy with the sound. Price ain't bad for my tight wad butt.

Glad to hear good review on the Shark. I just found their site yesterday and was surprised to see such good prices. Had never heard of them and was hesitant to order.
