How many of you have ever wondered about the behind the scenes "vendor" costs of wing ding...

I noticed that the brochure does NOT include some things like electrical...

Well that gets you all the advertisement farkles....

Banner, ads, special treatment

and then the booth space is free, at whatever size that you ask for....

That could be a BIG plus to get a large booth.

So it might cost less if you really want all that adsoace

Membership in any organization is what the individual members make it and all have to make a profit to survive. Wing Ding is nothing more than a large trade show for motorcycles. Even pin stripers and mural painting is offered. Ride in shop around and possibly purchase your favorite farkel.

Cheep at twice the price....... If their selling their product...If they weren't it would be expensive at half the price.......

the booth prices without sponsorship seem reasonable based on my past experience with trade shows. The other fees for move in/move out, phone, electrical, carpet, table and chairs, etc. can add up and I don't know what their rules are about that. In some places the convention centers are union and you have to use their stuff and have their people move it for you which gets real expensive.

All in all, if I was a vendor it would look pretty enticing if I could reach my customers in such a condensed time period.

When I had my boat business, we derived 25% of our annual income from the nine day January boat show. It was worth spending some bucks to achieve that.

I agree, the prices were not that bad...
I had heard a lot of 3rd party whining about wing ding, and it being soooo expensive for booth space... but these prices dont seem so bad
