Need Help with Intercom

I have a 2015 Tri-Glide and ended up with an intercom problem this season. Brought the wife on a ride first time this season this last weekend. Plugged in her headset and while I can hear her, she can't hear me. Tried to adjust rear volume, but the rear headset icon on the screen has a red diagonal line through it. White transmit box lights when I talk. Unit worked fine all last year. Brought the trike to a local dealer and the guy fiddled with the adjustments. No luck. Only change I made was a J&M speaker and amp upgrade over the winter. Install was easy, no issues, plug and play, real happy with the sound.

Infotainment system works perfectly otherwise. Any suggestions. Does the red hash indicate the system does not see the rear headset..??? Thanks...

Trade headsets. The optimal arrangement is the reverse of your current setup.;)

Seriously - check the wiring on your mic. Is yours set up to hear yourself through the helmet speakers? If it is, and you can't, could be your microphone. Try unplugging the ampand return it to stock. Taking the upgrade out of the system to see if the headsets work normally will at least show the upgrades were not, or were, to blame. Probably not the problem, but it is the change that was made. [/QUOTE] Will be interesting to find out that the problem is.
 
If I remember correctly, the red line means the sound is muted. I would try swapping headsets to see if the problem goes with the port or the headset. There are times I have had to unplug and plug both sets back in to get working too.
