Nice looking trike.
That price is fair for a two year old trike.
Be very careful. Most deals that seem too good to be true ....are... Lots of scammers out there that " lift " pics from other sources, advertise them and take deposits and then disappear quicker than a dress on Prom night.
This add is posted by a private party. I'm just trying to figure out if I should buy a Honda Goldwing Trike vs a Harley Tri Glide Trike. Trying to educate myself, which isn't easy
CSC uses IRS rear, also the wheel base rear width and overall wheel base is bigger. Than a HD. Do you want it? You should bite the bullet and take a ride. If you buy it, ride her home or rent a u-haul trailer. JMO 😎

Sounds like a good deal.......but........is it a good deal for you?
I have seen that trike in the area a few times, or one an awful lot like it. The ad says it is in Springdale AR, and the phone number checks out as a Springdale/Fayetteville AR number. The ad states it was ordered new from a Honda dealer. It's a good chance it would be Heartland Honda in Springdale that does Roadsmith and CSC conversions. You might call Heartland Honda and ask it they did the trike build or at least serviced it. Next week I'll be in Osage Beach for the TT/TOI Mid-America Gathering, and after that I'll be in Minnesota until after the 4th of July. Bearing in mind you are in California and the trike is in Arkansas, after yo talk to the owner and if you get serious I could check it out in person for you sometime after the 6th of July.
On Edit - Here is the Fayetteville, Ar Craigslist ad for this same trike:

Ours is a 2004 Champion conversion. The GW 6 cylinder easily will run 100,000 miles with just normal service, and there are many out there with a lot more on the clock. It is smooth, and gets better gas mileage than the GL1500 we used to have. I like the ergonomics - I'm 6' 175 lbs - the ride is good even with the solid axle our Champion has. It handles well with the 4.5° rake here in the Ozarks where straight roads are rare. It is a very good mile muncher. On trips we routinely run 700 mile days. Weekend day rides for us usually is a full tank of gas or more. There are a lot of 1800's out there since 2001, and it doesn't look like Honda is going to make radical changes soon. Parts and service should be available for a good long time. The Wing may not have the cache of a Tri Glide or a Freewheeler, but the Goldwing reputation for quality is legendary. The bike of choice for most conversions seems to be the Goldwing.
Downsides are the powertrain is complicated. Anytime you need to have anything under its skin the tupperware must come off. The overflow bottle for the cooling system is at the bottom of the engine where some have found rocks or other debris can hole the bottle. Most used 1800's have had a belly pan installed. The air filter is buried in der a bunch of plastic, wires and mechanicals. The Honda shop manual lists changing it as about a 4 hour job. Fortunately it doesn't need service often where I live. The stock seat exhibits and extreme amount of suction. The passenger portion pushes the passenger's hips forward forcing a leaning back position. Not as comfortable for most people as it sounds. The front portion can be found lacking also. Most folks get a custom seat, modify the stock seat or use some kind of pad or air cushion - the lucky few fit the stock seat.
I have had a HD FLHS since '92, so the Harley is my longest owned bike. I also have a 2013 Triumph Bonneville - a very fun bike with retro looks that gets a lot of attention. Gloria has a 2007 Trike Shop (now Roadsmith) VW based Roadhawk. If I had to pick only one for Gloria and myself, it would be the Goldwing.

Thanks for answering all my questions As far as the other bike is concerned, Vic, will only take cash. He said the bike belongs to his son who needs the money.I'm still thinking about it....If I try and move forward with it , I will let you know. Again I appreciate the offer
