I lived in AK 73-78 and traveled back many times for work over the years. The plans are to travel back in 2018 and stay the summer. We will take the truck and toy hauler, leave mid may and return in sept. Looking forward to this trip. Jim

To Alaska from lower 48 & Salmon Glacier

I hope to return. Maybe I can go again in 2018??? I'm glad I went in mid-May; saw more snow on mountains although slightly colder than June. Have you seen the Salmon Glacier? You tube and Google has videos/pics of it. The greatest site/view I've ever seen--looking down on the glacier close up. Saw numerous other glaciers from afar around Alaska and BC.
