Trike Talk has lost one of our own. Charles (Stan) Harris a/k/a harlin of Gloucester, Virginia passed away Sunday night after a long battle with cancer. His funeral is this Friday in Gloucester. Stan and Darlene (dharrell24) had become fast friends with many of us and Marge and I especially enjoyed spending time getting to know them better at the Maggie Valley gathering last year and the Hannigan 40th anniversary gathering. Stan lead the Tail of the Dragon group ride on his new red and black anniversary Goldwing Hannigan and was always ready to help in any way as was Darlene. He is a very special person and will be greatly missed. Please keep Darlene lifted up in your prayers as she adjusts to her loss.

On the wings of a dove may he rest in peace and his family find strength from all who knew him as the gentle and friendly spirit as has been expressed. My condolence to family and friends. His spirit is now free from all boundaries to experience the wonders of Universes.

I am so sorry to hear this. I had no idea Stan was having health problems. He seemed so full of life and could really ride that beautiful Trike. I wish I could have spent more time with him and got to know him better. He is still missed and I pray for comfort for Darlene and his Family and friends.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well-preserved body, but to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting...Holy Sh!t What a ride!
May he rest in peace and his wife and family find comfort that he is in a better place now. Condolences and prayers...
