When on two wheels I always ride with boots. However because of having difficulty with the shifter I've changed boots out for my regular loafers. I'm able to shift much easier and braking works fine also. Anyone else riding without boots?

I know everyone tells you to wear protective clothing. I'm sure if I were still on two wheels I would be wearing more protection but especially since I've been in the Stallion I don't. I'm also sure if I had ever been in a wreck I might say something different. I'll say the bottom line is you should wear what makes you feel safer.
NOT ME
My old work boots are too heavy & HOT! I do wear a high-top tennis shoe...
Wear boots some times, some times I don't. Ride both two wheel and three. I overheat very easily and don't mess around with it anymore. I'm sure some will jump in and flame us but I say do what ever makes you happy.
i always wore boots when i rode dirt bikes. iv'e never worn boots when riding bikes on the street. sneakers is the only thing i'll wear
Boots. On the trikes, on the 2 wheelers, in the car and generally when I am out of the house. I have 2 pair of service boots. one for work and one for pretty much everywhere else. Most comfy footwear I have found recently. In the house I usually wear a pair of Crocs, also comfy and easy to slip on and off. And they seem to last forever. I have a pair of tennie runners, think I have had them on 3 times in the last 2 years. So it is boots when riding, I guess I am inadvertantly being safe.

Boots pretty much everywhere, all the time... Have a pair of Rockport boat shoes for around the house as "slippers" is about the only other footwear I wear.

I'm a boot wearer myself, but guilty on occasion with the trike of wearing strapped sandals. I guess it is a mood thing or convenience of the moment, but guilty just the same. I suppose it is part of the good and bad of having choices, like helmets, leathers, and any other protective gear. Only by the grace of miracle will be escape the worst of accidents. I don't always wear them either.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
Sort of in transition. It used to be only boots, but with the onset of peripheral neuropathy and the attending pain, whatever is comfortable.

I only wear boots if I'm on the way to work, because they are part of the uniform. If I'm out during the day, I'm probably wearing my Birkenstocks.
