It's going to be HOT in Texas no matter where you go, so we just plan some morning short rides and then kick back with a cool one afterwards. We also enjoy listening to all the military and old WWII swing band music.
They are saying it is supposed to be a really heavy weekend for road travel, so for you travelers, be safe, have fun, and have a great "4th"!

Just relaxing on Sat and enjoying the pool( after a nearly complete rebuild) then on Sunday planning a ride to Little Nashville Ind.

Riding in the early morning, we should be home around 1 PM, hamburgers & hot dogs on the grill for sure.

Well made it up to the camp with no rain went to the store bought a pork shoulder going to smoke it for tomorrow . If I survive that incident take a nice putt on Sunday maybe even Monday.. This weekend life will be good. Hope I don't run out of any Tennessee honey.

Going to our Town Square to party and watch the Parade, then home to BBQ and Smokin & grillin. :pepper: God Bless the USA

Softball game tonight. Played 1st game in drizzle. Lightning cancelled 2nd game.
Riding to racetrack tomorrow.
Riding to Mets game on Monday.
Maybe sneak in Kayak on Sunday.
Oh yeah. Also getting tested for "Valley Fever" Sat morning. Still not great after ride out to Tucson.
100,605 miles and counting on trike.

arrived at 2 wheels of suches today :pepper:. will be spending the weekend here and attending the fireworks show at the local high school. lots of riding and scenery in between. ThumbUp

I'm working the whole weekend on midnight shift. But between work and work on the 4th, we are going to a family get together where there will be bbq and all the fixins. I plan on sleeping little and eating a lot.

We will be getting together at my youngest daughters place in the country in later afternoon with all family possible. BBQ, reasonable spirits, and plenty of target practice before nightfall, then an abundance of explosives for the finale. Hip Hip Hooray to our military veterans, past and present! Be safe and enjoy your celebrations.

That doesn't sound too exciteing !

Nope shorted out main cable to the starter, which melted the fuel supply line, and to quote the tech other misc. goodies . Just leaves one to wonder :xzqxz: what tomorrow will bring? Will need three new batteries, hopefully not a new ECM!

Well Dang! NOAA for Midland Intl Airport reported 106* with 15% humidity at 3:15pm. Sure glad we deep-watered the trees yesterday and ran the sprinkler system early this morning...looking for more of the same for a couple of days. Hope we don't have a power grid failure and lose the A/C. Guess that's why we keep the motor home to go to!

Broke a 30 year record....hit 107* officially. Electric is out in parts of the city but we're holding ok. More heat on the way for most of the week. Oh joy.
This means high electric and water bills. Double::mad::mad:
