Vinyl is the way to go. Stuff gets under those bras and can mess up the fenders. I had one on a car once and threw it away after 4 months.
An alternative:
LineX. This can be applied Color matched or a contrasting color.
A friend applied a contrasting color and had it applied to look like flames as it went over the top of the fenders.
Very nice looking.

I put See Thru Braz on my Roadsmith, they are "almost" invisible and are holding up well.
I have the black padded vinyl on my CSC and like them.Easy to clean and look good.
Trike Wings keep most of the debris off of the fenders, and the 3M protects against the stuff that gets by.......👍

I'd second the See Thru Braz. Been working with Al there and after taking one off for testing purposes, I can clearly say you won't have to worry about them coming off or getting anything under them. There is a tacky backing that once in place and a few hours to sorta set, the stuff is nearly like paint. I still owe Al my latest version as a template for Indian fenders. I've been very impressed. I honestly don't think you could go wrong with his product at See Thru Braz
The only reason some people are still alive is it's illegal to shoot them.
