Well said, triwinggirl
Since i started on this site i have realized that this is an international site. my freedom of speech does not always apply here.
I have also learned to be more tolerant of other peoples choice's of what they ride.
i have also learned to appreciate those choices and be happy that they made their own choice, and are riding something that they enjoy. no matter if they built it them self or had a builder build it for them.
We are all brothers and sisters no matter what we ride. one ride is no better than another. It is only important that we like what we have and enjoy being around others that enjoy what they have. So pick what you like and ride the tires off it. there are a lot of choices out there build a trike buy a trike just get one and have fun. Thank you all for helping me to grow

GOOD STUFF.....:wtg:
Amen triwinggirl. Very well said. I do love it when another person "gets it" ! This is EXACTLY the idea this community was founded on back in December 2007. Embracing and being respectful of one another and our individual choices even if that persons choice would not necessarily be our own.
I have some great memories from my early childhood of building home made skateboards, go carts and minibikes. We built and raced "go carts" down a long hill that came from the old airport near our house. These homebuilt "go carts" were 12 ft long, made from a piece of plywood and two long giant green bamboo poles and a wheel on each corner. They looked like a dragster and steered with a long rope and were a real death trap...no brakes! The finish line dumped onto a busy road so we had to intentionally wreck or dodge oncoming traffic. We had a traffic spotter so thankfully no one got killed. We would have loved to have the nice store bought Briggs powered carts like the rich kids had, but I guarantee you the memories of hand building and jointly pushing those home made carts is far sweeter than cranking a store bought machine.

I think between the two of you, triwinggirl and Bazooka, that sums up this site. It is a community filled with differences but the commonality of one thing, the enjoyment of trikes. Being able to share and learn from each other with the understanding and respect for our individual choices is what separates us from any other place on the web. It took me a while to "get it", but once I did I wouldn't want it any other way. Thank you for bringing this up to remind us all of what Trike Talk is all about.
Well said TriWing Girl. Now if the rest of the biker folks could accept this all riders would get along better.
It's not what you ride but that you do
Larry
that said---why is it Nananananana and I get harrassed over our yellow machines ?
Remember--It is never the issue but rather how we react to the issue is the issue.

I didn't intend this to be about the color of a bike either we all ride, we all enjoy our trikes, no matter the make, model or color.
Although yellow is cool, joy is prettier, and going to look even better in PINK
this is what trying to put yours above others leads to we all can play that game. The point is we don't have to. We all ride beautiful trikes, we all love the one we ride, we all think ours is the best. we don't have to do that here.
Here we celabrate each other, and all trikes, yours, mine, and thiers.
:yay::yay::yay:
Please understand--the comments i am making are in jest----couldn't care less if someones trike is green purple pink orange or not painted at all.
Just that Nana and i often get " remarks made in fun no doubt " about our yellow trikes.
Remember--It is never the issue but rather how we react to the issue is the issue.

We have been known to jab one another, but its in fun....its means we like that person! The few times I have ever seen anyone get really malicious on the board, it ends very quickly. With help if necessary.

All types of trikes, it's like Baskin-Robbins 33 flavors. Not everyone is a fan of vanilla. I've had plenty of people pass negative comments about my GL-1500 with Voyager; it has won its share of trophies since being assembled in 2006.
It has even won 'Best Trike' twice. To those who made fun of it I would always say, "My Wing has won 12 trophies, how many has your's won?" and they back off. See the avatar and the album for proof.

Trikelady I know what you mean. I have had same issues. We have been gone and just got back yesterday. Went to Helen, Ga and then over to Cherokee then up and over the smokies to gatlinburg and then to pidgeon forge.WE stayed in these places a day or two and of course while in cherokee we went to Harrahs casino. Lost my money, then my shirt pants shoes and underware. They were my favorite pair too. they where the ones that had the holes in them. Had to ride home nekkid! Only place or thing that didnt get sunburnt was my but cause I was sitting in that But anyway back to the issue of the bike and voyager kit. My bike is just like yours. If i remember mine is a 94 and yours is 93. But i pulled in to shell station there to top of before I left. There was two guys standing at the curb in the parking lot next to there bikes. They were both Harleys. They said it loud enough so I heard it and so did someothers. But ignored them like i didnt. They were calling us a sisssy with training wheels. Yes we ride what we like but we also ride what we can afford. Were not all outlaws and I dont want to be. The only approval for what you ride is your own. Thats what matters. What the others think in my opion can go to ...... in a hand basket. Sure its nice to get the compilments and praise but not every one going to have the same.
We Ride, what we like to Ride, & respect the Ride of other's, that's what makes us Family.......
Hi Triwinggirl,
Everything that everyone said above is true but down deep we all think that we have the best trike! Look at Scutter. He thinks that yellow is pretty! I think that yellow should have lace at the bottom! Haha Just another opinion!
I don't want any negative chatter from you Scutter or any other "yeller" Trikes out there! Remember we are just having fun!
