I head to the shop later today for an early morning fix on the water leak. Scott I do understand the frustration, I hate it when something doesn’t work right. I got some crazy codes from the frig when it was new. After a lot of research and no results I just shut it off and went to the outside frig access and unplugged it. About 20 minutes later, plugged it up and turned it on and it worked. That doesn’t mean it won’t stop again. I do know that keeping the outside frig plumbing area cool is important, a lot of people have an air exhaust added to the frig. I do know that if I start having an issue, I will replace with a residential frig.
If you haven’ Done it already, get a couple of the battery operated air movement fans and place them in the frig. It does help with keeping the cool air level.
I am am sure you have a trip interruption plan with your insurance. Make sure you are far enough from home before you report it if the frig quits working. I was not 50 miles away from home so I am eating our motel bill on this one. Next event, if we have one, I will be in Albuquerque and take it to camping World up there.
Scott, Wishing you you the best in this adventure, for me, send $$$$ I need all I can get to support me living in the RV and still keeping my house going.
