Still monitoring for fix to the horrible factory rear brakes.
You can feel brakes slow you down but no way to get quick stop.

Welcome to Trike-Talk...
I have an 2011.... And i switched over to EBC pads.. A little better. I use the rear brakes to slow down a little ' And when i have to stop - like right now! I use the fronts with the rears..Most of your stopping power is just like a bike, The fronts.. That said could they [Harley] should they make them better yes, But not in my life time it seems... But i can tell you with the EBC's pads once when i had to sit on both brakes at the same time.. Or end up as a drivers side door ornament [Left hand turner] all 3 tires locked up...

Your right it is a sorry system... And no car manufacture would be able to get away with it..
If '[And that a big if] Indian came out with a Factory Trike and had the proper brakes and i might add a mechanical reverse... Harley would have to seriously change a lot of things they do with their Trikes... ....
