Honda, as well as all of the others, very well may refuse to perform warranty work on a Trike conversion. Yes, it has happened. It has also happened that the Company performing the conversion does the work under their own warranty.
I'm planning on triking out my Honda Goldwing this season:
My question is: Does triking out a motorcycle cause the warrentee to be voided?
I'm worried that putting a trike kit on my bike will cause Honda to say SORRY NO MORE WARRENTEE..
Does that happen? Or am I worrying about nothing??
Thank you all

There are several threads on this topic Ronnie. For the most part all the horror stories are just that. Yes, Honda will not warrant any part of the conversion. They will also not warrant repairs when the conversion caused the damage. Some dealers (especially if they did the conversion) will get it covered.
Do not let guys scare you from converting your Goldwing. If it is sound, the chances of developing problems caused by the conversion are very slim! There are Goldwing trikes with 200,000 plus miles on them with only minor maintenance done on them. My '06 had 120,000 on it and would have ridden it any where.
Good luck with your conversion!!

I'm like an old race horse..... I can still run the race -- Just ache more at the finish line and need more rest between outings.
What I did , I called my nearest Honda dealer and asked them. They said no problem, they would honor the remaining Honda warranty. I got the CSC Conversion, and that part is covered for 5 years, Mechanical parts.....

I did ask my selling dealership about warrantee service, and they said that (because they know me/and that I don't beat on my bike/and I ride responsibly, that they will indeed cover the engine portion, (NOT THE CONVERSION)...I did take out an extended five yr. warrantee, so that helps..
