I don't have a jack yet, I know I posted in another thread about jacks but was wondering what I could do this winter, my other 2 bikes sit all winter on a jacks so tires are off the cement floor. Just curious if anybody does anything special or just leave tires on floor, I'm limited on space as is and it is not a heated garage, winters here can be cold and can also be pretty nice, temps down and then up and down and so forth.
Should I worry about flat spots, have heard this a old wive's tale, but I believe it true on bias tires, but not radials, the triglide doesn't have radials or least I don't think so, pretty new at this. Have read put some carpet pieces down for tires or even cardboard, not sure what this does so that is why I'm asking to the experience riders with triglides that live in the basically the midwest, doesn't apply to you warm weather all year long riders, must be nice.
