How about those drink foam holders. When not in use just put it in the rear storage compartments located near rear seat. They would hold a large variety of different sizes of drinks. Just make sure the drink has a cap to close.
I have a drink holder on the passenger arm rest and not sure what brand but I think Kuryakyn. It is a simply attached to the bottom of the rest and slides out and has a simple bar that prevents your drink from falling through, or so it' s supposed to. The wife got a drink to go the other evening and took a couple drinks and then it was gone. I suppose it fell through the space left between the bracket. I guess my options are........find a good quality metal cup that the top ring fits and won't allow it to fall through or purchase a basket to attach to the holder itself. I guess the 3rd option is to get another drink holder and forget about that one. What are you guys/gals doing?

2015 Goldwing 1800 W/ 2016 C.S.C. Viper Trike Conversion
Our trike has the same setup and yes my wife had a bottle of water fall out. I think what happened to her was the lever on the bottom wasn't straight up and down . Haven't found a solution yet but it is a problem.
My trike has a Biker Babe Beverage Bra made by Big Red's Neat Stuff WWW.bigredsllc.com we really like it doesnt work to well when i'm solo but great for two up,goes on and off in seconds.Holds 24 oz Bubba cups perfect we use the built in straws to hold them in.
My cup/bottle holders are PVC pipes and caps
2 for the Ol'Lady
1 for me
She uses 1 to hold her phone and the other for a drink
I have tried drinking (soda) while riding and it does not work well for me.
I get soda all over my face.
But on the hot days a bottle of water is good. Dont mind that getting all over me as much
Thank you
Bob
I think I'll try the cool cups, I believe that will work, Thanks to all!
We have the same armrests, with a koosie. Doesn't work well with tall drinks. When we bought the bike It had a drink holder on the front bar with a leather three strap, snaped harnes. It was a little short also, we had the straps lenghened. Workes great now on eather end, holds a 20 bottle.
We have this one from Big Bike Parts on our trike and it works well.

On my last bike I had the same setup and wife lost a drink. I went to walmart and bought a heavy plastic cup that I thought would fit the holder, cut the top of the cup off and slid it down in the the holder. Drilled a couple of holes in the bottom for water release and off we went!

I have the Butler Beverage holders on my trike. I mounted the passengers holder to the holder that comes with the Kury passenger arm rest. Now she can use her Butler cup.
Had the Kury drink holder, but it didn't seem to like the cups, or the cups didn't like the holder Gloria put in it. We lost 4 cups before we ditched it. The last one Gloria said it just lifted up out of the holder, flew along with us for a second and disappeared behind us. After that I made holders for 24 oz. Bubba Hero Sports bottles out of 4" PVC pipe and nylon webbing straps from Walmart. They are deep enough to hold the bottles, but I added a safety strap as insurance. I originally put a RAM ball under the armrest for the drink holder, but Gloria decided she didn't like the armrests, so now it is attached to the passenger handgrip with a RAM clamp. Easy to remove if she doesn't want the bottle, or to move to her VW trike when she pilots that ride. For me I made one for the RAM clutch/brake clamp mounts on the handlebars.

Ive got the Kury arms and I dont like the shallow cupholder, its just a bad design. What the Missus did on her own was find a water bottle that would fit the opening and then she cut one of those foam beer or soda can cozis. She cut a ring about an inch and a half wide off the top of the cozi and then she slipped/pressed it over the bottle so it doesnt drop through the opening of the holder. Weve had over 10,000 miles on her botttle with no issues plus she found an insulated bottle so her water is always cold.
I got the Kury with a mesh basket and have had no issues with it other than a empty bottle disappearing at interstate speeds. It just flew right out and was gone

Just beginning our ride together
I just put the kuryakyn passenger armrests and drinkholder on my 2016 triglide. What a waste of money. The armrests are hard plastic with ridges, making for uncomfortable use by the passenger. I took mine off and have an auto upholstery shop recovering them with plenty of padding and black leather. Also, the armrests pivot with very little friction. If you ride without your sweetie, these things are all over the place going down the road. Once I get the armrest assemblies back from the upholstery shop, I'll see what needs to be done to fix that. The cupholder would embarrass Walmart. Cheap. Think twice before you purchase this setup, boys.
Not to hijack this thread but does anyone know where I could purchase a closeable/sealable lid for the large 32/34 oz. Butler cup? I have the lid with the straw in it but would like one for hot use.
Thanks

Nice fix. Personally I had the Kury mesh and it worked well, of course I have no BOB, so it wasn't used much. For the rider I use the Butler ... had it on about 10 bikes now ... I keep wearing out the cups, mostly lids (they start to leak after a couple years) but the mount has been solid like a rock. I have two sets of screws. One for Goldwings and one for Harleys.
