I guess this is long over due. After coming off a 2 wheeler for some 50 yrs., I needed to learn more about the in's and out's a trike and what others found interesting about them. Still wanting to keep my knees in the breeze..

the Cacti Huggers told me I was too prickly to join their group, but Trike Talk embraced me.
I felt it is always good to have a group who knows the workings of the motorcycle brand they are riding. So far I have learned about the shifter problems on my bike and how to fix it. How to get my Passing lights to work and look factory built. As I join in this forum I hope to get and give information I have learned to others.
Been riding 2 wheels on and off since I was 16 (now 73 Ugh!). Recently bought a 2018 DCT Tour CSC Encore. Love it. The dealer I bought it from in GA dropped it off at CSC In Arrington VA. I picked it up at their factory. Great people. Very knowledgeable and bent over backwards to make us feel welcome.
I joined TT because this is the place you find out things on your Trike that the dealer does't know or will not tell you. In other words knowledge. So far I am impressed with all the helpful people here.
I started riding two wheels in '68. Six years ago, my back gave out to the point where I couldn't hold up my Fatboy. Hope to pick up a Freewheeler this summer. Your forum is amazing ! I'm learning a lot in preparation of my first trike. I live in New York State which has some can't county side.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
just purchased a 2004 goldwing one owner trike with only 4,000 miles. Just noticed the rubber isolator bushings in the swing are totally shot. Rear end is drooping. Need to find out best way to repair.

Lots of reasons...the friendly banter....the knowledge freely shared....especially by Lee H.Mann. May he RIP. At 77 years & and not riding for close to 50, I decided to buy an '89 GW/Lehman to join family "in the wind". I chose a trike because oh my short stature. Two years ago I decided to upgrade to a 2008 GW/Champion IRS Conversion. Thru TT I learned what needed to be done to keep a GW Trike on the road. Accessory wise I saw what "bling" I wanted to add & what I absolutely wouldn't put on my trike if you gave it to me.
i'm one of those "lurkers". Having only basic mechanical knowledge, I learn more by "listening"
It must be a full time job "riding herd" on Trike Talk, keep up the good work!!!
P.S. I would participate & send pictures but am computer illiterate & don't want to mess things up.

On two wheels since 63? Called Crip since 70 when a drunk driver t-boned me and almost took off my R leg in 69 and a drunk friend loading a gun shot me in my L knee soon as I got off crutches so it stuck even though the friend who gave it to me was killed by a drunk driver in a head-on.
see the theme here the ultra loaded was about a thousand and after I turned 70 had trouble holding it up found a voyager I like it but it needs preloaded I lost the manual and can’t remember what to do so it is on the leaf springs and ride s like a hard tail need help before my hip goes my Lknee is replaced with a long recovery so would like to put some miles on while I can sorry for the longness
I did find the preload info at the company website and this should help you get everything set: http://www.mtcvoyager.com/preload/
You can find more info under 'Extras' on their website: http://www.mtcvoyager.com/
