My last VW trike build
Any home built Trike can be very easy to handle or very poor. It just depends on how much or how little the builder knew about what he was doing. Many that you find for sale today, are for sale because they don't ride properly so you really have to be careful when considering one. Any of the Bike conversions can also be very hard to steer if they didn't rake the trees after conversion to 3 wheels, so do your homework before you buy one. I build 13 foot long Trikes. In my opinion, the longer Trikes make for a much better ride. Short Trikes will most likely be wheelie poppers and not very smooth ridding.
