Anyone deal with them? Are they knowledgeable on GW trikes?

You story sounds a lot like mine. I got my gl1800 done at KD Cycles and in hindsight wish I had not. The paint job was done by them and not very good at all I didn't realise that it would not be factory paint until it was too late. The paint color was off enough to be noticeable but being excited I didnt catch it until I got it home. Also they managed to scratch my fender during the install which I have since touched up but that is noticeable too and it makes me mad every time I look at it. They just get in too big a hurry and get careless.
I also have had electrical issues and a leaky trunk that I cant get stopped.
Im too far away to take it back to then every time I have a problem so I have had other companies work on it and so far the factory has taken care of the issues.

I had them do my GW back last November. While they were the cheapest it did show up in the paint job and some assembly issues.
The Aqua Shield on the right side has marks on it where it was brushed up against while the paint was wet.
A couple of the small bolts in the floorboard worked loose because the nuts were left off.
A few days after I brought it home I noticed something hanging down, look up under the trike and a pair of vise-grips pliers were clamped to the underside body panel. As far as Road Smith goes, my trunk latch broke loose from the lid in January and after many attempts to get in touch with the company I just gave up and ate the cost.
I love my Trike, but I am disappointed with those quality issues since I live 4 hours away from KD.
