I have been looking at a new 2017 Tri Glide and if I purchase I would like to be able to mount my Power Vision - looking at the the amount of handlebar showing, not sure if it can be mounted properly?? Do not want it right up by the clutch lever?? Thanks for any suggestions.

Just curious, where do you have it mounted now? I'm guessing it would mount in the same place.
ive never had a power vision, so I'm guessing...

welcome aboard why not just take it off the old bike and dry fit it to the new one to see how it will fit. I'm sure there is someplace it will look okay at.

Welcome to TT!ThumbUp

There are a few people on the forum running one on their Tri Glides. I'm sure one of them will be along to show you where they mounted theirs.

I should have been clearer with my first post - I am currently riding a Heritage Softail with a handlebar mounted PV. The the nearest HD dealership is hours away and on my only trip to see the 2017 tri glide I forgot to include this detail.

Not much room on OEM

I put mine on my left side but... no room on OEM bars I had already made the discussion to go with Khrome Werks 2+2 wide sweepers. I made sure not to block any of the gages even with these bars little room. This change was like adding power steering. good luck on your choices ThumbUp ride safely fearless

Welcome to the forum. One thing you may want to check on is your warranty on a 17 and installing your power vision. Now as far as the dealers in this area are saying if you use any tuner other than a SE tuner it will void the warranty on the 17's because of the hefty fine HD just paid to the EPA.

Thank you for the pics - most helpful - will consider the Krome Werks bars as well. Re/warranty I think I will use the stock tune for the first 2 years and use the PV gauge functions only - as I would be switching bikes therefore would have to purchase another licence from Dyno Jet if I want a different tune - hopefully with this new setup I won't need one.

Pretty much the same issue here in TX. Makes sense as they are just cya. Oh yeah, the extended reach bars are a must if the op wishes to mount anything that is not perch mount.

I don't have a pic yet but on my 2016 with OEM bars it fits on the bar as it angles down. I worked the bracket under the clutch cable. Some may say it looks crowded but I like that it ends up beside the radio touch screen.
