My new trike was delivered. I had a trike built to a certain level and will complete
the work. Just some minor items, but...when I ride the trike it is, I think, what is
called heavy front end. When I take my left hand off to change gears, the
steering wants to pull, it takes extra effort to hold it straight. To the point of it
being dangerous. Also, there is no steering stops, it will turn almost all the way
to a 90 degree position.
I contacted the builder and was recommended that I put a wider tire and rim on.
Was also sent some web links to companies that sell aftermarket steering
stops. Those are interesting.
I hope that I have been able to explain my problem. All I am looking for is to find
a way to make the front end more safe. I do not want to change gears and end
up making an unwanted turn at the same time. Do not like ditches or any other
issues this could bring.
Thanks to all in advance for your assistance. TrikerDawg
