Roadsmith Trike brake question

I have a 2003 Gold Wing 1800 with a Roadsmith Trike kit done last year. I don't seem to have enough rear tire brake. Shouldn't I be able to "lock up" the back when braking for emergencies?
It has the stock master cylinder--or do I need a bigger master cylinder for the back? Someone mentioned this, but I am not sure.
I think the brake seems soft when I have to stop hard.

If it seems soft, that's an indication bleeding and possibly a top off of fluid is needed.

Make sure your installer raised your brake lever up a couple of notches. And yes there are many Trikeshop owners having brake issues. Contact Trikeshop. Great folks ot deal with and they will stand behind their product. No complaint at all about customer service, just design issues. You will probably need to rebled the brakes and have the residual check valve replaced to cure your problem. Yes your rear brakes should lock up. Not always a good thing but yes they will.

I had the same problem and it was resolved by the Trikeshop within an hour at no charge to me. They replaced the residual check valve and rebled the brakes. Now the pedal feels great
