hello from OZ, well you can see it from here in Kansas
We are just getting off our two wheelers as my wife has had a total knee replacement and we have sold our two wheelers. We have settled on one bike, a 2002 Suzuki Volusia with a Voyager with 3800 miles that we can both ride with confidence. I never really gave much thought or attention to triking before but I think this is the way to go now. Thanks for the group to draw some knowledge from.

Congrats on the new adventure, Captain! But I'm betting you and your wife end up fighting over the trike and you end up with two....LOL! Actually, you are going to have a ball with it.

Wiz he is in the Land of OZ (Kansas Big Wind). Welcome Captain from a fellow flat lander in eastern Kansas, up south of the Wellsville area, get to Ottawa about once or twice a week. Ride with a BTW Chapter from that area. Have fun with the new toy. Jay A.

Jay, the way things are going you need to be independent of Uncle Sam anyway. Sorry you still have to be among the working class but hopefully you will be able to get out someday. If it wasn't for my retirement plan I sure wouldn't be sitting here doing this. If the administration has their way though, I may have to go back to work just to pay the taxes on it. Better have fun while I can.

I have a friend that lives in MEAD the home of the Dalton Gang.. We stayed at the Dalton motel. Never did get to see the little house that Dorthy lived in . They say you can buy a yellow brick to put on the Yellow brick road . We did visit the Ok Coral and Boot Hill

Well, I have been to most of those places. I think God might have lost his shoes somewhere out there. It's pretty desolate when you get past the Flint Hills, lots and lots of nothing but wind. They swap real estate every day in Western Kansas when the wind picks up. It isn't fun territory for two wheelers, but doesn't bother trikes too much.

Well, I think I heard somewhere there is a house out there that they like to call Dorothy's House. I can't say for sure. That's definitely out of my field of travel.

Hey welcome Captain! When you posted from the land of OZ I was sure you were another Aussie. We have probably a dozen or so members from Australia and they call it OZ. So if you see a new member post from OZ its most likely an Aussie. Great people by the way...youll enjoy chatting with them if you get the opportunity!
