Still a few around here Carla, I travel quite a few back roads around me. Mostly country folk that wave from a pickup, if it's a sedan most likely not...them's city folk. I've even had a few wave from their tractors when passingWell they still wave here too but this is small town area. The jerks from the cities are just starting to migrate here so we too will be see the rude only me thing that is rampant now.
The only reason some people are still alive is it's illegal to shoot them.

Makenzie Alexis Noland, of Abilene, took her graduation photos at Gator Country, which is located near Beaumont. The NBC affiliate in Beaumont reports that Noland spent the summer as an intern at the gator farm and apparently became friends with "Big Tex," the gator she took the photos with.
Noland is currently studying wildlife ecology at Texas A&M and is expected to graduate in 2019.

I have to agree wildlife is unpredictable, but this Texas gal is fearless.Just hope she doesn't become gator food. Wildlife is wild and totally unpredictable.

Only time I've ever seen it snow in Galveston County and woke up Christmas morning to snow on the beach (2004)!

Think that was the year we got 9 inches here with 24 inch drifts. We get some crazy weather here but prior to this the most I'd ever seen here was 4 inches. But then I haven't lived here all my life. Spent 25 in California but was so glad to get out of there and back to Texas.
