A straight-thru trip from Kerrville to Big Bend is about 7-8 hours no matter which route you take.
Factor in food, gas, and pit stops....you can see why John said 2 days would be better!

Widely planted as a garden flower, California poppies escaped cultivation and are now found throughout most of the United States.
Texas is being flooded with people escaping California too.
