I haven't done it and hope I don't have to. I have looked at what might be involved in doing it. The parking brake cable runs under the radiator crossways. It appears that it would need to be disconnected some place. There are some screws visible on each side of the radiator but it is difficult to see what might be securing it at the top. Even thought I don't plan to perform this task, I would like to know what is involved in case I do at some point.
Hi Chuck,
Sorry to hear you have to replace it. I am on my third one.As you know I'm not any good at that kind of stuff. Richard told me to check the cap first in the trunk. He says a lot of leaks are coming from that. Good luck with it.
Are you planning to go to Deadwood again? I will be there. Hope to see you.

Hi Terry
I haven't planned rides for 17 yet. I just had hip replacement and they say
when I feel better I can have the other one replaced so I am just waiting
to see how things go. were you able to get your lights fixed yet.

Hello
I have a question or two . does everyone's a/c compressor come on when you turn on the fan.reading the ford manual it says the compressor is turned on in all but one heater mode.HEAT. manual says the a/c comes on to dehumidify the cabin air when defrost is used. but if the heat mode is used the compressor is turned off. do we have a
heat control unit hidden somewhere if so where is it. doesn't make sense to me to have the a/c compressor come on when I only want fan heat. should also add to the mpgs.

My compressor only comes on when I turn the right knob to the "C" position. Rick

Good morning
thanx for the replays, I found out my problem was with the
knob, it turned and made a clunk like it was turning the switch but was not doing anything so the compressor was on
whenever I turned on the fan. I like simple problems like that and yes I discovered it by accident when trouble shooting.
