The Walking Dead television series has been the obnoxious family member that you give 100 chances to get right—and they disappoint you every time.

The notoriously sluggish nature of the show has been damn near stuck in a standstill—where you wish that something, anything will happen.

...the finale of this season ranks up there with the worst in the show’s history.

Hey Ron, he does indeed have some valid points. But anyone including myself whom has watched the show from the beginning has felt this way at some point. This show has had it up's and down's throughout the seasons. My thoughts are this... It's just entertainment, I don't think I'm just going to stop watching it because it's not moving along like I want it to. I agree, I felt cheated on the finale and yes like you called it...it took almost an hour to pick up steam. The writer of the article has the right to voice his opinion and the choice to give up on the show. Me... I'll keep watching, it's not like there's anything else on with zombies that I'm interested in except Fear The Walking Dead

We'll get around to it. We've enjoyed these three individually, together they should be a lot of fun. One reviewer states Alan Arkin is the best of the three. Also, Anne Margaret is in there. This will be a fun, popcorn movie.

Tonight was Redbox night and I suggested that since it was Patriots Day this coming Monday it was only fitting to watch this movie based on the tragic event during the Boston marathon. Although It seemed difficult having to relive the events of the tragedy....It goes to show how delusional Jihadists are any how much we must do to protect our homeland.

Overall this was a very well made movie keeping the intense realism while saluting law enforcement, the power of love, and how we can truly help out each other when needed.

Along with the tribute to the city itself, this movie had me beyond engaged...it had me on the edge of my seat. Highly recommended if you haven't already seen it.

Well as our weekend was wrapping up we decided to take in a Saturday night movie. Our choice was the latest installment of the Fast and the furious franchise.

Fast 8 still retains it's over the top stunts, ridiculous fun and absurdity that the series is known for. But despite the beautiful scenery, hot cars and even hotter women, this doesn't quite have the same charm that's made the past few so good. The major reason for that is the absence of Paul Walker. The interactions between the cast members doesn't feel the same without him...and for myself, it did affected my overall enjoyment of the film.

However, there were some standout moments between Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham (Some of my favorite scenes) and Statham's fight scene with the baby in tow was entertaining...

Bottom line is it that it still feels like a mostly recycled film that will now be stretched out for at least 2 more movies.

A take off on COPS but aired live as it happens.

I watched this from it's inception. Found that the "expert" panel members wing it because so many laws differ from state to state. Also, Bridgeport Ct. PD had quite a bit of air time because of the activity there.

Due to that, the Mayor of Bridgeport pulled the show stating that it was portraying Bridgeport in a bad light with all the crime going on there. So....I went back to Last Man Standing-Hawaii 50 and Blue Bloods on Friday nights.

It was another rental night here over the weekend. I came across the comedy spy film- Keeping up with the Joneses. Yes, yes i know...it's been done before, however when I found out that Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot was in it I said sure why not! She's easy on the eyes.

Was pleasantly surprised, better than I thought... And funny too (without all the crude humor ) Ehhh, for the buck rental I can definitely say go for it, the Wife and I were laughing through it all the way !

Started out the Memorial Day weekend with Sgt. York. Outstanding performance by Gary Cooper. Then on to the classic .. The Godfather. Been good viewing so far.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Aside from being a major improvement over On Stranger Tides, this fifth installment is not really all that bad.The pros are the Visual Effects and Javier Bardem,(playing the villain) Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow had his moments, still the drunken pirate stumbling about, but all other performances were fine. The action sequences were decent enough for me, while most of the other scenes were fairly monotone. Yes... there was those laugh out loud moments and even a celebrity appearance. Dead Men Tell No Tales was a decent movie overall, worth seeing if you've enjoyed the previous 4 and need your swashbuckling fix
