Anyone else able to spot what is wrong ???
Anyone else able to spot what is wrong ???
Dry reservoir and no pad material left?
Looks like it needs new pads and probably a new rotor and a new bleeder screw. Caliper may be messed up too but can't tell from these pictures.

Anyone else ... the problems are in the center of each picture ???
O.K. I will bite. What is wrong with the pictures. I have a thought for the right one but nothing for the left one.
Top- don't know what it is
Bottom- looks like the caliper not squeezing properly

This bike was recently sold by a dealer. It looks like it left with new pads and SB-23 being completed.
In the top picture, the reflection shows in best. The protector (or fluid deflector) in the center is upside down. The one in the clutch m/c is so tight against the bottom of the m/c, my guess would be that someone was thinking it was an 1 way reed valve . Possibly when they took Basic Brakes and Hydraulics 101, they were absent that day.
The other picture shows brake pads in the RF caliper. It has Honda pads with the silencing pads against the pistons. It looks like left pads are on the right side and the right pad set is on the left.
Don't know anyting about goldwings. But lookin at the picture that little doodad looks like it fits pretty good in that slot. But then you mention the clutch and now I'm wonderin what the problem was that you would take all that stuff apart? Just curious don't know much about it, but there's guys here that could maybe help out if they knew the problem. If this is totally irrelevant never mind.
Greg, good information and pics, thanks for posting. Could you maybe post an after picture with the problem corrected?

Below is the same m/c with the deflector installed correctly. Under the deflector are 2 ports. One is not visible. The purpose of the deflector is to keep fluid from aerating. If it where not there, fluid exiting out the exhaust port would squirt upwards and splash diaphragm under the cover.
Here is a picture from another Wing with the RF pad set installed correctly.
