Back home!
Seems the traffic knew we were wanting to get home and did everything it could to slow us down. The last 5 miles took the time like 25 miles....
Great time at the gathering meeting everyone and riding the roads. Hopefully we'll get to go again.
Thanks to everyone that had any hand on putting/maintaining/etc this Gathering.
Oh, enjoyed some company heading back today with Larry and Wendy. Thanks!!!
This was my first year to attend the Trike Talk Maggie Valley gathering.
Even though I did not stay on site at the BW motel, I did enjoy meeting so many of our fine members from our TT community. It's a very special feeling to finally meet in person. I enjoyed all the activities, meals and rides with our membership.
I do look forward to our event next year and know the same enthusiasm and fun will be enjoyed by all that attend.
I would like to give special thanks to those who dedicated their time and unselfish personal efforts to make our gathering the success it truly was:
- John and Jan, for the registration, cookout and leading and organizing some great rides
- Motorcycle Mike, (Mike and Shirley), for leading and organizing some absolutely great rides for all. In addition Mike and Shirley put up with all of us out in front of their room for some great one on one time.
- 2Paps, Ed, for leading some rides
Good Times, Great Friends, Good Memories
Just got home from Maggie Valley. Had a great time with all the Trike Talk members.
Thanks to everyone, with special thanks to John and Jan for all of their work making this a great trip and Mike and Shirley for working the grill at the cook out and everyone who lead the various rides.
Thanks to Eric and his wife for keeping us company on part of the ride home.

We are home too... it was almost a 600 mile trip. Becky thinks she deserves the Broken Iron Butt Award!
We had an awesome time meeting and chatting with everyone. And like has been said, thank you to all who had anything to do with organizing the great rides and the cookout!
As Dave said... "Good Times, Great Friends, Good Memories!!!"

Such an awesome time in MV!! I loved meeting everyone and the rides were great!! Thanks to everyone who had a hand in the activities! I volunteer to have some games ready for the evenings, or during inclement weather, as long as that ok with everyone.
Let's decide as soon as possible some of the details for next year!!
Finally reporting in, we're in Memphis, TN for the next 4 days waiting to see when it's safe to head back to Florida. Many thanks to everyone for the great times and memories that were made, it was an awesome gathering. Mike, John, Ed were great ride captains that we were on, super roads and laughs, the ice cream was pretty good too !!!!
It's been a long day with all the truckers on I40 so we're hitting the hay a little early tonight, thanks again to all.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave in a well-preserved body, but to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting...Holy Sh!t What a ride!
So sorry I missed this one, tending to Irma, dreaded weekend coming up. Up early slurping coffee, can't sleep, that's for sure.
So glad we finally decided to attend our first TT gathering. It was an awesome week and was great to meet such a friendly group. Hopefully this won't be the last one. Also best of luck to everyone in the path of Irma. See you again.

Shirley and I got home yesterday. It took a little longer than usual because we were talking about the great time we had seeing old friends and the new ones we made. Then I noticed I had missed my turn of 10 miles earlier.
We're already looking forward to next year and maybe adding some of the other events to our calendar.

Due to work being done on our home and our trike needing a transmission, Sara & I were at our gathering for Monday only. We had a great time with ol' school and his wife at Dale's Wheels Through Time, a great time extending God's blessing to trikes and trikers, had a giant flounder & baked potato dinner with Mike "Bugman" & Liz, and ended up heading back to the Kingsport, TN area at around 9 PM. I-26 going over the Smokies was devoid of other cars and very black & very boring and for some reason my eyes were having a hard time focusing, I was very glad to arrive safely home at around 11 PM.
The one day stint at our gathering made it really hard for us to leave for home - we did not want to go! While we were there, Sara and I had a great time seeing everyone, and enjoyed re-blessing the trikes & trikers we blessed in 2016.
Hopefully Sara and I will be there for our 2018 gathering, and able to stay longer than one day! In the meantime, may you all be happy, healthy and blessed - in every-way!
