Nicely put, skuuter..... and these are excellent points for all of us (I'm thinking ME here) to remember
Something I have become very aware of over the years...even more so with this "Little Invention" called "The Internet". I read Posts about various Folks havin' either "Really Good", or "Really Bad" dealings with various Businesses. I've sometimes read where some of my personal favorite Companies get really blasted for poor service, products, etc., and some of the Companies I could never get anything remotely near "Good Service" with get praised highly by lotsa' Posters. Just a few little personal observances of mine over the years......
*** Companies can't grow into fairly large Businesses without "MOST" of Their Business Dealings satisfying the Public (even if I never had a good experience there)
*** Dealing with the General Public on a daily basis is extremely hard..."always"
*** Business Owners, Employees, Sales Persons are just like You...sometimes They're havin' a bad day...it might carry over
*** Profits at all but the very largest Corporations are slim at best, and every return, or simple replacement takes a while to overcome...keep this in mind during Your transaction
*** If You expect the Company in question to go above Your expectations during the solving of Your problem, be the Customer that goes above Their expectations...it always helps
I have a standing rule on the Internet in Forums....I never bash Companies that I have had a bad situation(s) with, because there will always be Others that flock to Their defense, and mine will ALWAYS prove to be a minority opinion, because it was a reputable Company for me to have used Them initially.........also.........I "rarely" praise Companies that I deal with favorably all the time, for the same reason...the Bad Dealings Folks will show up also.....just some Personal Thoughts....oh yeah..."one more"...
Everytime You belong to a Forum and it goes down or has problems, no use bashin' the Owners and Staff, because think about it, if They weren't as commited to it or even more so than Yourself, They would be out pursuing other Interests......Believe me, They all get put back up and running as quickly and efficiently as possible....in fact, if "YOUR" Forum goes down, You can simply go riding, play golf, etc., while "THEY" are still chained to it trying to get it back for "YOU". Nice to have Forum Problems pointed out in polite PMs (...awareness of problems is good), but kinda' aggravatin' to read complaints on Open Forums.....Politeness, Manners, and the Golden Rule goes a long way toward havin' better days in all things concerned....:wtg:

I've done almost 1000 transactions on e-bay. I think I only have been burned twice. Everyone else has delivered as advertised.
