Please be informed that the registration site is now open to register for the 2017 Deadwood SD Trike Rally that is scheduled to be held, July 11th - 16th in the beautiful Black Hills of SD. Also the schedule of events is posted, but may be subject to change. Please refer to the rally's site, www.d3wr.com, to register and to get more details. Here's the latest update on the Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally as far as numbers of registrants, type and style of trikes that will be represented and from what states their coming from. I can't believe there are no "trikers" in Montana and Minnesota that are looking for a good time this summer. It is not too early to register - in fact, that helps us with our planning. Simply download the fillable PDF from the website www.d3wr.com or print the registration form, fill it out and send it back to the address on the form. Teresa tells me that if you register before May 1st, you will be given a special swag bag at check-in. I forgot to ask her what's a swag bag, but it must contain something rather special. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. Hope to see many of you there as well. Ride Safe!!!

HAVE YOU REGISTERED YET for the 3rd Annual Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally? We are just two months out and we need to place the orders for patches, pins and event t-shirts by the end of May. If you are ON THE FENCE and not sure you can make it - REGISTER ANYWAY. If something happens just call us before July 7 and we will give you a refund.

Once again, here's the latest map update showing the number of trike models and which states the registrants are from. What's with Minnesota??? I find it difficult to believe that there's not even one triker in the whole state that will entertain a fantastic opportunity this summer and to have the time of their lives. Maybe you're one of those that's undecided and on the fence, as discussed in an earlier post. Fear not, as Teresa, coordinator for the rally said,... "even if you're undecided, register anyway". If something happens or comes up that prevents you from attending, call her BEFORE JULY 7TH and your registration fee will be refunded to you. You have NOTHING to lose and a whole lot to gain. What other rally that you've attended or heard of, for that matter, offers that promise, especially less that one week from it's start date? Come and be part of the best trike rally in the mid-west. I promise that you won't be disappointed!!!

For the past two years we have had registrants ask for baseball caps. This year we have a vendor (Helen Jerome) who will be making them up at the event and will also take orders in advance so you can have them upon your arrival. She is sewing the logo on both black and tan hats and they only cost $15. They look great with this year's t-shirt! Send an email to teresas@firstgold.com if you want more info. NOTE: To be guaranteed an event t-shirt you must have them pre-ordered by June 23rd. A limited number of long sleeve t-shirts will be available for purchase at the rally.

In one month from now, registrants for the 3rd Annual Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally will be taking off for the beautiful and scenic Black Hills of SD, to introduce themselves and their trikes to the event. Some of you may have already left, so as to include this event as one of your stops to your summer vacation. Some of you are returnees to the event, with the hope of experiencing again, that which you enjoyed on your previous visit and to see places and participate in events that were not on the rally's previous years schedule. For the others, it will be a new experience that I promise you will not regret. I've been told that the registration fee will increase on June 15th, so get your registrations done before than to save a bit of $$$$. I've been trying to keep track of the TT members that have indicated that they will be attending the rally. To date, I have the following:

Here is the latest map of preregistered attendees...we expect over 100 walk-ups (or rather drive-ups!). Glad to see that a few Minnesota trikers finally decided that it would be a BIG mistake not include this event in their "Must Do", To-Do list for 2017. To them I say, WELCOME! To all attendees, I say, WELCOME and THANK YOU!

Thanks for the compliment, but Teresa deserves all the credit for making the rally, now in its 3rd year, the success that it has become. She continually seems to out do herself, year after year and I'm happy and proud to play a small part. There doesn't seem to be too many rallies put on especially for trikers, have you noticed? That seems to be very strange, considering our numbers are increasing dramatically nation wide. I was and always will be, happy and proud that someone from my state of SD, decided that it was about time. I missed its first year due to other commitments, but I intend to make every year thereafter until I can no longer ride. Looking forward to seeing you again. Ride Safe!
