Finally made it up the Beartooth Mountain pass, it opened it on Sunday. Loads of snow on top. Was a great ride.

I used to live in Montana for many years. The Beartooth Pass is a great ride that I have made many times. It never gets old.
It's a dry heat...........
Not cold, just a nice way to get away from 90 degree heat and the air is so clean and fresh. It's always a great ride.
I was up at the summit one time on May 2nd and the temp was 12F. So it can be a bit cool. Also on another trip on June 15th, we got 8 inches of snow.
It's a dry heat...........
We traveled Beartooth Pass on June 19th from North to South. Lots of snow at the summit but the road was clear.
We even stopped at the Top of the World in Wyoming - first time we have ever been over Beartooth when it has been open.
After leaving Beartooth we traveled on Chief Joseph Scenic Highway to Cody. Another AWESOME ride on a nice road. Just watch out for IDIOT locals who pass no matter what the lines on the road are painted.

I don't seem to be able to post pictures for some reason. However my friend went with us and this is the picture album he made. My album is mostly of his bike because I was taking the pictures. The Yellow trike and trailer is my wife and I.
