need help selecting a luggage rack

I posted a photo of the trike a couple weeks back.

My wife and I have made a deal on it for her howver we have not picked it up yet.

It is 1200 miles away and as you can see from this photo it is really not equipped to carry any luggage.

This is a Lehman Trike Conversion, can any one here point me as to any information and or source to find the rack that will mount the best.

I have a Champion kit on my FatBoy. I went to our dealer and they let me bring out one of each of the tour pack racks they had in stock to see what would work the best. I selected the small one for the fit in the body and for my preference in looks with my kit. I did use rubber grommets to adjust the level when we mounted it, but have been very happy with it!!!! Just measure and mark a bunch before you drill, whatever you decide!!!!!!!!! LOL!

Nana, that yellow and white is really a sweet color combination.

Honestly we have not even seen this bike in person, one of the HSOA brothers is 100 miles from it and he is going to make the transaction for us.

Does anyone here have this kit, as I understand there is no trunk, all the rear body is just a cover. What is under the small raised portion behind the seat. I would have thought if the rear tire and fender is gone that this should be flat.

EDIT: I am now thinking this is molded there to accept a factoy 2-up seat, is that correct?

The HD tour pack racks are made to mount to the contour of the tour pack lid. There is a way around this if you are trying to mount it on a flat surface. I installed one on a receiver hitch-rack and used some beveled washers from Fastenal. One washer on the top and one from underneath works real well. You can use the stock mounting hardware that comes with the king tour pack rack, which can usually be had off e-bay for around $50.

That's a Sporster and I am not sure what sort of passenger seat may be available. You probably need to be looking for 2-up Sporster seats and they may fit that hump.

Most all of the more famous after market seat companies build seats for Sportsters -- Le Pera, Corman, Mustang, Saddlemen. Even Harley's Sundowner seat is pretty good -- for a while. Be aware that Sporties are a bit cramped going 2 up. I'm not sure the touring bike hardware for a tour pak will fit the Sportster. I'm thinking it's too long & maybe not wide enough. That one is a '03 or older, so I'm not sure it had the 150 rear tire like the '04s & up. There are several aftermarket places that make tour paks that do fit the bike -- not sure they'll work on the Lehman body. Doesn't appear to have a slot between the fender "bump" & the fenders, so the struts may not be under the body to atach a tour pak to.

I missed the point. He asked about a rack, not tour pak. The rack that goes on the ultra tour pak might work, depending on how wide that trike is between the rear wheels. there are 3 different racks for the tour pack. The "mini" fits in the flat portion of the tour pack lid. That might be just right. I must say, I DO like that little trike! I really enjoyed my '06 Sportster & wish I'd kept it when I traded it on on the Ultra. It woulda made a nice trike for 'Pest.

I also have one of those Aftermarket Tour Paks from Ebay...Took it off the Kawasaki because it was new. Last Nite I ordered a Rack for the Top of the Tour Pak...$30 + $15 shipping...he still had some left.
