Looking for an oil temp dipstick for a 2010 triglide. The only one I can find is made to read with cycle on jiffy stand. JP Cycle lists one but after calling I found out it is a read on jiffy stand also. Does anyone have any ideas?

HD actually came out with one made specifically for the triglide in the 2011 book. You can also go online and get it at the HD site. It looks exactly like the other ones that are not for trilkes and I believe it was at the same price.
The only difference between the dipstick for a touring bike and the TRI-Glide is where they mark the levels on the stick. If you found one you like for the bike just take the original Tri-Glide stick and transfer the levels onto the bike stick. The stick part can be lightly marked with a file for the new levels.

The new temp stick for the TG also "digitally" shows the oil level....that is if you would really want to trust that. I don't believe I would.
I guess it makes a big difference which dealer you call. One said HD doesn't make one for the triglide and another found the part number and I have one ordered. Thanks for the help.
Just so you know.. there's a high rate of defective units for these digital units. Water spray and even condensation will muck them up. Mine lasted only a few months, warranty was declined due to water inside the unit. They said I used a pressure washer on it... nope, just a water hose to rinse the soap. Buyer Beware.
Nothing beats the old fashion way. Pull the stick and read it.

I have had the temp reading dipsticks on my last two Ultra Classic Electraglides and had no problems. The one on my 2008 also read oil level but I always checked with the dipstick anyway. I just want an easy way to check oil temp. Thanks for the input. Ride safe!
