its a big step to leave friends and family..but if not NOW..when ??

I almost had hubby convinced, then he found this plot. At the time, he didn't want to be too far from his mother (she was alone, so he wanted to be nearby "in case"). Once we built the house, he swore they were taking him out feet first because he's not moving again (although the bank may have something to say about that if things don't improve soon )
Anyway, if not now, when? May have to be when I'm too old!! LOL

Left NH for RI and then to NZ 37 years ago. Can't say I miss the short summers, snow, mozzies and mud season. Still visit to see rellies.
Hey, JohnnyMac, I'm on my trike in NH right now on business. I woke up to a warm 39'F this morning. Funny thing is I ran into a couple a few days ago from New Zealand. They were triking around the world and had just completed all 48 lower US states and were about to ship their White Gold Wing trike and very large trailer to the UK for the next leg of their trip.
Hi Bikerbozo, Iwas brought up in Berlin NH and most of my family lives in Southern NH now. 39 degrees F would be a record cold day where I am now. It would be interesting to know who the NZ couple are and their proposed route. I'm sure shipping those rigs is quite dear as 2 wheelers are dear enough. I have ridden in all 48 lower states, Alaska and Hawaii along with a few other places 2-up with camping gear. Sidecar now but maybe trike for a ride in the USA again.
unfortunetely I didn't get there names. but there are only 25 people living in NZ, right?
it's hard talking on the side of a highway but who knows, maybe they will be spotted in a couple of months in NZ. or however long it takes to finish travelling the world. I can tell you that age wise, I don't think they were out of their 40's. Possibly even younger.
