Amazing! Glad theyre going to be ok!
Friends of ours were triking in Idaho near Coeur d'Alene when they rounded a curve and observed a moose calf on one side of the road and a moose cow on the other side of the road.
While executing an emergency stop the rider ended up rolling the trike. You'd think that was the end of the story, right? Not so.
The co-rider managed only slight injuries. The rider also was fairly uninjured UNTIL THE COW MOOSE STOMPED THE CRAP OUT OF HIM.
He is currently in the hospital in Coeur d'Alene with 6 broken ribs, a punctured lung, a damaged spleen, a dislodged heart and multiple facial injuries.
He may be moved to a regular room today. So, if you happen to have some spare time stop by the Kootenai Medical Center and visit Joe & Joanne Habuthur please do so. They are a long way from home and they are really nice people.

Wow talking about bad luck. Hope they continue to improve. Glad we don't have to worry about looking out for a Moose in Alabama. We just have millons of their cousin
(deer).
