Great Service from MotorTrike

Some of you may recall I terminated my 4 Corner Ride in late Spring mostly due to a medical problem. At the same time I was riding with "on again and off again" rear brakes on the Shadow.

I had it serviced in Daytona Beach, FL; Dothan, AL (Zooks); Ocean Springs, MS; Troup, TX (M/T HQ); Jackson, TN: and Asheboro, NC. Each time the "fix" lasted about 500 miles and the last stop before I got home I was told to replace the master cylinder. Did that and the "fix" lasted about 750 miles before I was without rear brakes again.

Finally, it was decided the best thing to do was to replace the brake lines since we saw evidence of brake fluid spray in the general area of the rubber line which "T"s into the metal brake line that runs between the two drums.

Couldn't find any parts locally so I contacted Richard at M/T in Troup, TX and in matter of days I had a complete set of brake lines for the Shadow.

Happy to report its been 1K miles and no sign of rear brake failure. In fact, I haven't had to replace any fluid in the master cylinder. But I did have to replace the front brake pads. Reckon 8K miles with them being the sole stopping power will quickly wear them down!

Thanks Richard for the prompt service.

Richard was the lead trike builder for Motor Trike for many years and moving him into dealer/customer service & warranty manager spot was a great decision. He know MT trikes front, back and sideways and can resolve problems most cant because he has seen them all first hand. I sure hope Jeff leaves him in that spot.
