Took my trike in for front brakes and I needed a front tire since my Pilot Actuve was cupped after 13k miles. Had to put something on so I put a Dunlop Elite 4 Radial on the front. Any comments on this tire and what could I expect? Thanks

Well I put a Dunlop elite tire on the front of my trike and I have 25,000 miles on it.
I don't know how you went about it?
The difference may be that I put a rear tire ( the exact same size as my front tire ) and mounted it backward rotation.
A rear tire is made of harder rubber and I don't need side flex to corner on the trike like I did on a two wheeler.
Using a rear tire this way gives me astounding mileage out of a tire, I have a slightly rougher ride but not enough to justify using a regular front tire.
Are your rear tires a radial or a bias ply. Some say it makes a difference?

the difference between a good trike and a bad one depends entirely on the integrity of it's builder!
