Sounds like it's coming together Hank.
This is the one for chain/belt alignment: https://www.sportbiketrackgear.com/p...lignment-tool/
The set that I posted earlier is over $1000.00 in a shop setting it pretty much pays for itself after the first 2 builds.
If my storage unit didn't get cleaned out in 2011 I'd have lent you the set and then when you're done you just ship it back to me.

Not sure I like them on the bike or just not used to them being there.

Hey, I like it. Now you really can say you got a tractor. Sorry, that's what it reminds me of now. But I really do like it. I still have to see if they have a Indian one. I'm betting skirted fenders would look good.

Also, keep in mind if you want a more hot rod look you can leave the fenders on the side they are on but switch the fender brackets. It will put the fenders more in the front and show the fat tire in the back.
I have removed the brackets twice and changed where the fender bolt to the brackets twice. I do believe I finally got it where I want it.

Really did turn out AWESOME

Ok My trike is ready to be rode, everything is done except the fenders are still at painter's. I can ride with out them , finish date for fenders is 05/30/2017, I have know painter for many years, we will be swapping work for this job, I will make a adapter that will fit after-market air breather to stock carb. I will have less than 8 hrs of work Verse how ever long it takes to do fenders, I do pay for material's used in painting.
Conversion took longer than i expected but I did not rush either, I did have somethings I was unfamiliar with on build and had many days that were to cold for me to work in. The only help I had was installing the swing arm and bleeding the brakes and I am glad I had that help, rear axle I used engine hoist and had not strain on back. the problems were few, banjo bolt sent with kit would not fit so I used the original one, and I had to unbolt axle from swing arm twice I think so I could torque all the bolts to spec.
yes I will post some photos taken during conversion and one after I clean and polish the 2 years of dust off off it,
start to finish I ordered kit on 04/06/2017 and finished conversion on 05/11/2017 , I'm a lot slower than most but quicker than those who pay someone else to do the job,
it was fun and interesting to say the least

Hey Hank,
Congrats on getting it done. Let us know how you like the ride.
ok I can not get it to post photo, goes as far as loading file, then box says clear list and submit reply and preview post dont work, I am allowed to delete it and thats it
Are you using another photo hosting website like photobucket or postimg or using the editor here to attach a photo. I've looked at mine here and it looks like there may be a limit to how many you can have. But I'll be darned if I can figure out how to delete any. I'd highly suggest using photobucket or postimg or one I really like on my Mac called DropShots. DropShots has to be the easiest I've ever seen. Intuitive as they come. But I don't think there is a Windows version but I never looked either. Both photobucket and DropShots require you to use the Image link option in the editor though rather than the Attachment button in the editor. I think there is even a Sticky that explains how to use photobucket. But that be a different site. Can't remember and bounce around too much.

all the photos have been down loaded on to my computer, still cant post them, going to see if photobucket will work, I have also resized setting on phone
I wanted to see if I could upload pic's to photo bucket but I guess the site is down, or it was yesterday, have not tried today, to much work to get done before I can sit down for other than short note
